HSE 6000 Secure Radio Encryption for Land Mobile Radio Applications

HSE 6000 Military and Law Enforcement Universal Voice Encryption secures voice over Land Mobile Radios (LMR) and Sea-Air-Land (SEAL) Intercom Systems (ICS). The HSE 6000 is an in-line COMSEC device that connects between the communication device (radio, ICS or phone) and the operator’s handset, headset or helmet, providing end-to-end secure voice communication. The headset may be a lapel speaker/microphone device, a cell phone headset, an earmuff with boom mic headset, a helmet headset, a military handset, or any special customer device. Once the HSE 6000 is connected, secure voice operation is fully automated. The only user actions necessary are selecting Plain or Secure mode and adjusting volume.

The HSE 6000 SEAL can also support either Stereo (Binaural) or Mono (Monaural) headsets. In Binaural, one channel is secured by the HSE 6000, separating clear intercom and secure radio communications. When not engaged, the HSE 6000 SEAL is essentially in Bypass Mode allowing Full Duplex audio to freely traverse until secure communication is required. The HSE 6000 SEAL also supports Hot-MIC ICS operation, which is only intercepted for encryption when the unit is engaged.

Secure Voice Telephone to Radio Conferencing

The HSE 6000 also connects to corded handset telephones used with VoIP, digital and analog telephone networks, enabling both secure radio, and secure radio-to-telephone communications and voice conferencing, which is ideal for connecting commanders and government officials with field forces. Enabled by X-NCrypt® Cross Network Cryptography, the HSE 6000 provides end-to-end secure voice communications and conferencing across and between radio and telephone networks.
